U.K. SHARK NEWS. PATIENCE PAYS - BLUE SHARK BONANZA

SCS members Kat Hodgson, Chris Hansen, Frederik Seelig, Gary Tomlin, Paul Smith, Paul Smith, David Andrews, Kara Vale, have been trying for two and three years to get to sea with Shark Cornwall and cage dive/swim with Blue sharks, but either the weather or the sharks didn't play ball. On July 24th and 25th they finally got to sea in reasonable conditions and on the 24th were rewarded by having 3/4 sharks and on the 25th it was 2 or 3. All those who wanted to got into the water on several occasions. Richard Peirce of Shark Cornwall "I wish I could say that these great days indicated a recovery in Blue shark numbers, but I think all they did was give us a tantalising glimpse of what things were like 30/40 years ago because we killed far too many Blue sharks in the north Atlantic. Anyway they were brilliant days. Long may it continue".
