MALDIVES SHARK FISHING BAN

On July 1st a total shark fishing ban will come into effect throughout Maldives waters. This is the latest in a series of new shark protection laws and follows the governments of Croatia, Palau, and Britain (British Indian Ocean Territories) all of whom have introduced laws with similar and sometimes wider aims.
